October 1961
Minoru Matsuda (first president) founded Maruwa Welding Works, a welding company, in Higashiosaka City, Osaka Prefecture.

January 1962
Maruwa was involved in underwire fittings for power lines for the Japanese National Railways (now JR) and private railways.

May 1970
Head office and factory moved to current address.

September 1984
The company name was changed to Maruwa Yokosho Co., Ltd., with capital of 10 million yen.

June 1992
The company name was changed to Maruwa Industrial Co., Ltd.

July 2001
Higashi Osaka Factory (Mizuhai) established.

Logistics Systems Department established (Logistics Design Department).
